EPCRA


The Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA) establishes requirements for Federal, State and local governments, Indian Tribes, and industry regarding emergency planning and “Community Right-to-Know” reporting on hazardous and toxic chemicals. UFacilities that store a total of 1320 gallons or greater and have a reasonable potential to discharge into Waters of the United States, are subject to implementing and maintaining a Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) for their facility.
